As many as 1,440 motorcycle riders joined the tenth annual Ronald McDonald House benefit ride through southeast Minnesota Sunday. They raised an estimated $119,000 this year. Many of the riders made a noon time stop in Rushford for a break and lunch. Perfect weather and careful traffic management made the visiting riders happy with the benefit and the stop at Creekside Park.

It's safe to say Jim Kitchens is fed up having to deal with electrical outages associated with the ITC power line coming into Rushford.

2010 brings change to Turn In Poachers (TIP)
 2010 has been an amazing year for TIP with 679 TIP calls resulting in 499 cases being started and 114 arrests. The arrests are mainly for deer and fish violations, but also include arrests for waterfowl, small game, turkey and recreational vehicle infractions.
